Well….I seriously thought I would never be the type of person to blog, but within the last year I decided to take time off from teaching to stay at home with my two active little boys. While enjoying my time with my boys, sometimes you just need some “adult interaction”. Yes, I understand this computer is not an adult, but when you feel somewhat ‘stuck’ at home with two littles when it’s 32 degrees out, you will do ANYTHING for a close second to some “me time/adulting” to feel like you have accomplished something that day. Anyways, staying home has been very similar to teaching elementary kids, we have our good days and bad days. In short, I’m learning as I go how to raise these two wonderful boys.
As far as working at home, it is definitely a whole new ball game. While teaching, I was able express my creative side through lessons, activities, technology, projects, etc and now that I’m home I feel that I am constantly looking for my new creative outlet.
Through this blog I hope to share insights into the “work at home” life as well as provide suggestions and tips I have learned along the way about motherhood, food allergies, raising boys, and my new “obsession” ….sewing!
